Writing Residency, Arraiolos, Portugal, April 2026

This April 2026 I will be in the "Córtex Frontal" residence in Arraiolos, Portugal, working on my ongoing writing project Something about Yum-Yum Sauce. Arraiolos is a small hill town in the Alentejo region, known for its quiet landscapes, cork trees, and long afternoons of light. During the residency I will continue developing the manuscript while spending time walking the countryside and gathering notes, images, and small observations that drift into the work.

Eustathia I. Kostopoulou Foundation – Το Περιβόλι της Γιαγιάς

I work closely with teachers and the school principal to support long-term planning and rebranding for a nonprofit serving students from high-hardship backgrounds. I led the complete rebuild of the organization’s website, developing a new structure, visual identity, and messaging from the ground up. In parallel, I handle internal and external communications, coordinating with board members to move initiatives forward and ensure alignment across academic, administrative, and strategic priorities. The role required steady collaboration, practical problem-solving, and the ability to translate between educational, organizational, and public-facing needs.
